Moby Dick is our go-to restaurant for fish and chips in White Rock. Our visit yesterday for lunch was great as always.

We all ordered the one piece fish and chips, and decided to try the onion rings.

Moby Dick's fish was fresh and delicious, and the batter was light and crispy. The fries were golden, crisp, and perfectly cut as always. What was new from the last time we came was that the tartar sauce was served in a cardboard container, so you could spoon it onto your food. I usually don't eat tartar sauce, but Moby Dick has the best one in the area.

When the onion rings arrived, we were shocked to see the size of them. A small order managed to feed the three of us, with leftovers. Unless you have a very large party or are very hungry, I don't suggest ordering a large. They were crunchy and delicious.

Visit Moby Dick next time you're by the beach. You won't regret it.

This place brings me back to my childhood...summer days on the beach eating fish and chips! We would come and spend the entire day at the beach and we would love it when we got to have fish and chips from Moby Dick's!

These guys do take out well...which is amazing because what is better than eating on the beach! I love the Moby Dick's boxes that they give to make the transport of the food as easy as possible! You can also sit down if you prefer...but I'd choose the beach every time!

We decided to order the chicken strips and fries to share because we knew we wanted ice cream as well and it was the perfect amount! The fries are amazing and our order even came with a few onion rings...nothing better than good fries with malt vinegar, salt and ketchup!!

Love that this iconic restaurant is still serving us beach lovers after all these years...they opened there doors in 1975!

If you're looking for great fish & chips at a great price, this is your spot. Large fish piled over a heap of fries! Inside, the space is filled with some great whale-inspired decor. It almost feels like you're in a movie scene. Quick & good service. I suggest you arrive early so you can grab a seat. Next time, I'll be sure to try the take out so I can enjoy some fish & chips right on the beach!

Good fried fish and chips place. We had fish burger, oyster burger and shrimp burger, all good. The large size fries were a huuuuuuge plate, crispy but not hard. All the fried food were hot but not oily at all which is the most important thing for fried food. Satisfied about the meal!

Food is great and waitress is friendly. We were going to order a big drink but she reminded me that the medium drink has unlimited refills.
